Sherie Painter Cannin
Sherie Painter Cannin is a dedicated medical malpractice attorney based in North Versailles, Pennsylvania. She grew up in West Mifflin and currently lives with her husband, two children, and their dog.
Sherie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. She later received her Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2004, where she served in the Student Bar Association for two years and as Justice of Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity for one year.
While attending law school full-time in the evenings, Sherie worked full-time as a paralegal at Pribanic & Pribanic. Throughout her legal career, she has remained committed to advocating for individuals and families on the plaintiff’s side of the courtroom, which she finds the most rewarding.
Her current practice focuses almost exclusively on medical malpractice, particularly wrongful death and birth injury cases. Known for her compassion and commitment, she brings a focused passion for helping infants and children harmed by negligence.
Over the years, Sherie has played a critical role in numerous medical malpractice civil jury trials, secured multiple successful settlements, and argued countless pretrial motions in Pennsylvania state courts. She has obtained many seven-figure and countless six-figure settlements, with approximately 95% of her cases resolving before trial.
