More Talcom Powder Ovarian Cancer Lawsuits for Johnson & Johnson
The litigation wheel is turning against Johnson & Johnson after the company lost its second case for failing to warn consumers about the link between their talcum powder products and ovarian cancer.
Two juries in February and May awarded two separate plaintiffs a total of $127 million in St. Louis Circuit Court. The company faces another 1,200 lawsuits from plaintiffs who have developed cancer after using talc-containing products such as Johnson’s Baby Powder and Shower to Shower.
According to the Food & Drug Administration, other talc powder products include CVS Brand Baby Powder, Rite Aid Baby Powder, Anti Monkey Butt Powder, Assured Shower & Bath Absorbent Body Powder, Angel of Mine Baby Powder, Family Dollar Mild Baby Powder, and Shower to Shower Morning Fresh Absorbent Body Powder.
